Creative Works

  • Creative work in high school

This is a logo of a monthly-publishing newspaper named Electronic Science News. This newspaper publisher was run by students of my high school. I was the prettification designer. This logo was designed independently by myself.

Blue was the main color of the publisher's image. A brown curve located in the centre indicated a breakthrough from normal high school life. The gradual change from white to brown of the brown curve shows a growing ambition sparking inside us.

This picture shows the very first edition of the newspaper.

  • The building inspiring me to be an architect.

This building named Shenzhen International Technology Building is located in the City of Shenzhen in China. My father managed the whole constructing process of this building. At that time, I was a little young boy and very proud of the huge work done by my father. I thought it was intelligent of human being to build a high building and never fall down. Once I was standing on the top floor of the building. It was fabulous to have such a sight at such a height. I saw what I usually didn't saw and felt what I never felt. At that touching moment, I was thinking what if I stood on the top of the building designed by myself...

  • Something beautiful

Taken in Nan Tian Temple, Wollongong.

I was standing on one side of the tiny wooden bridge in the picture, and the view of nature was on another side. It was like I was connected with the nature by the bridge.

The feelings were both real and ideal. The real one was that I was on the path to an unlimited green land with a pure blue sky. The ideal one was that the path went to the other side of the mountain and could not be seen on the height which I was standing at. This indicated we were on our own ways with unknown and beautiful things to be discovered.
